Zur Schonen Aussicht in Schotten

Mulled wine is served in the cheapest cups with temperatures beyond hell, no cloth for protection, simply put, the wine cannot be worn without burning. The wobbly cup guarantees that wine will fall on your fingers or, if you're lucky, on your gloves. It has been 3 days and today the skin on the affected fingers is peeling off, with which I want to make it clear that it was not just hot, but that I was really burned. Sorry, but I don't understand the greed, it also works in the other stalls there with the paper cups (which is even better for the environment)

The "Zur Schöne Aussicht" is a good start / finish point on the Hoherodskopf. There is also food and drink on hand 😉

Very tasty bratwurst, as well as the farmhouse bread with a wonderfully crispy crust. The whole thing for a cheap 2.50 € (October 2020). Contrary to expectations, however, the beef sausage was not fried. For bratwurst enjoyment, there is a wonderful view as far as Frankfurt, see picture impression.

Doro and the team are always nice and in a good mood. As soon as we are in the vicinity with the classic car, we stop for a currywurst with french fries. The food is always freshly prepared, so far we have never had any problems. The view is also terrific. In good weather you can see as far as Frankfurt. It's worth stopping by!

Nothing wrong with it. Exactly what you expect.

The name says it all, the view is superb. The food is very good and tasty, the prices are reasonable. The waiting time was a bit longer, but of course it was just a lot going on because of the beautiful weather. The outdoor advertising is a bit strange (or the staff is new), if Sprite is advertised and you order a lemon soda, but get a Fanta, because there has never been a lemon soda, it is a bit irritating at first. Still worth a visit, without a doubt.

I've been a guest at Doro's for many years and I'm always happy! It tastes wonderful, the prices are more than fair and there is no nicer place on the Hoherodskopf to enjoy the view. The portions are also very large. Always my pleasure!

My favorite snack. It is always nice to sit at the Doro and eat a beef curry with fries and enjoy the great view of our beautiful Vogelsberg.

Doro and her team, including the kiosk, are a local institution. Super delicious food, cool drinks and the best service in the world, together with one of the most beautiful views in Vogelsberg. Must see !!!

You always like to look in here! The landlady is always nice and you don't usually have to wait too long, even with a lot of people. I can recommend the currywurst with the delicious bread;)

Very good snack with good value for money. Good food and beverage selection. From mulled wine over hot chocolate, to cold beer. From delicious waffles over French-red-white, to various sausage variations. Here everyone comes to their snack, children to seniors, cyclists, motorcyclists, hikers, skiers and sledders.

At Doro you can enjoy a heavenly view with beautiful sunsets. There are numerous drinks, as well as fries and sausages. I highly recommend the place.
